A hugely enjoyable evening – read review here

Friday 28th June – Steve Tilston. one of our most celebrated song smiths, widely recognised within the world of folk and contemporary music; the words, arrangements and subtle, quite superb guitar playing could be no one else.
Support from Ffion Davies– local singer/songwriter, who has wowed us at recent songwriter spotlight events!.

Monday 27th May – Mike Silver. Songs of longing, love and loss, perceptive and thoughtful, with haunting melodies and heart stopping lyrics.

Sunday 12th May – Kevin Dempsey. Kevin is an unassuming sort of bloke. His quiet manner and laid back attitude hide a multitude of extraordinary talents as guitarist, singer songwriter, composer, arranger and producer.

Sunday 14th April – Merry Hell with The Countrymen in support. A night to remember. Local stars The Countrymen agreed to do a support slot and both they and Merry Hell raised to roof. Real energised original folk and folk-rock – we danced till we dropped.

Sunday 24th March – Emily Slade. Long time folk singer from Herts, has played with many great names and a consummate performer in her own right on the basis of this gig. Joined by our own Emma for the final 4 songs. Opened by Harvey James who popped up at the Firebrand Songwriters Session earlier in the week

Friday 15th March – Kieth Donnelly. Great entertainment from a raconteur folk singer. We laughed our cotton socks off. Opened by local singer Kayte Mann doing her first public gig for 20years with her own songs – a welcome return

Unfortunately both of the scheduled February Gigs, Jim Causley and annA rydeR, had to be cancelled at the last minute due to the Wintertime Blues. We hope to re-schedule them in the future.

Sunday 21st January – Songwriter’s Showcase. Sunday afternoon session at Keep Audio Co. Music Cafe, Broad Street.
